Surplus and Tax Foreclosed Properties Currently Available for Sale

ORS 275.200 (2) After the sheriff has unsuccessfully attempted to sell real property of the county as provided in ORS 275.120 to 275.160, the governing body of the county may sell all or a part of the land, or an interest in the land less than the whole fee, at private sale without further notice but for not less than the largest amount bid for the land at the sheriff’s sale, or, if no bid was made, at a price the governing body of the county deems reasonable, but at a price no less than 15 percent of the minimum bid set under ORS 275.110 for the sheriff’s sale.

Tax foreclosed properties that did not sell at a previous auction, and have been deemed suitable to sell at this time, will be listed for sale. The listed price below is the minimum price acceptable as the purchase price.

Surplus properties that the County deems no longer needed for public use will be listed here for sale as well. These parcels may be sold in cooperation with licensed Real Estate Agents and the County will accept reasonable offers on these properties.

No personal checks or credit cards will be accepted. Tax foreclosure sales shall be conveyed to purchaser by Bargain and Sale Deed.
